Frequently asked questions
Is SteadyHeart a medical device?
No. SteadyHeart is a health-management and record-keeping tool that helps you log home health data such as vitals, weight, fluid intake and output, and medications, then organize it into trends and reports. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it cannot replace an in-person consultation with a licensed physician. See our Medical Disclaimer for details.
Is my data secure?
Security is a top priority. Sensitive health fields are encrypted at rest with field-level AES-256-GCM, and all data is transmitted over TLS. Health data is handled as sensitive personal information and is only collected and synced after your separate consent. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. You can keep recording without a network connection, and your entries are held in a local offline queue. Once your device is back online, SteadyHeart syncs incrementally in the background so nothing you entered is lost.
How does voice input work?
On the entry screen, press and hold to speak. Speech recognition runs on-device, and the recognized text is shown so you can review and edit each item before saving. It makes recording easy even when your hands are busy.
How do I export or delete my data?
You can export your records as reports or PDFs inside the app. To delete your account and all health data, see the Account & Data Deletion page, which explains the in-app steps as well as how to request deletion by email if you cannot sign in.
Can a caregiver or family member manage the account?
Yes. With the patient's authorization, a family member or caregiver can help enter and review health data. Please keep account credentials safe and make sure any managed care is always done with the patient's knowledge and consent.
What if I forget my password?
SteadyHeart accounts are registered with a mobile phone number, and self-service password reset is not currently available. If you forget your password, contact us at steadyheart@keephealthy.work. We will help after verifying account ownership. Do not include health records, verification codes, or your current password in the email.
Which devices are supported?
SteadyHeart supports iPhone on iOS 17 and later, as well as Android devices. We continue to track compatibility with current OS versions.
